Special Devices releases low-cost vibDaq Base System for $$ 4,597!
July 30, 2009

In an effort to bring customers powerful PC-based vibration analysis tools at affordable prices, Special Devices is proud to announce the introduction of our vibDaq Transient Base System. The Base System couples vibDaq Transient, our advanced vibration data acquisition and analysis software, with a portable four-channel USB data acquisition device. And now, for a limited time, we are offering this complete package for the low price of $$ 4,597! See the Flash demo here.

All of our vibDaq systems are based upon commercial-off-the-shelf National Instruments hardware for performance, reliability, low cost and expandability. The Base System can acquire vibration or tachometer data on four channels at sampling rates up to 51.2 kHz. All channels are sampled simultaneously, with AC/DC coupling and IEPE power programmable for each channel individually.

Our vibDaq Transient software application utilizes the newest signal processing and order tracking algorithms. We analyze vibration data using even-angle resampling to provide the most accurate angular resolution possible. Floating windows allow you to view a wide variety of plots (time domain, tabular, FFT, orbit, bode, polar, waterfall, cascade, shaft centerline, trend, etc) using either live or logged data. Data can be logged based on user-defined criteria, and played back for later analysis.
